IM Mastery Academy – Scam Review Part 2

Back in late March we learned several IM Mastery affiliates had been arrested in Spain.

At the end of March, we heard that several people who were part of IM Mastery had been arrested in Spain.

At the time, the names of the suspects had not been made public. At the time, the best Spanish IM Mastery Academy downline was “Awaken Dreamers.”El Pais’s follow-up story confirms that leaders of the Awaken Dreamers were among those arrested.

According to a report from El Pais on April 18;

A Madrid court is looking into Albert F., Iván B., Cristian A., and José Francisco T. as possible suspects.

In the first complaint, the victims say that the defendants committed fraud, false advertising, psychological coercion, criminal organization, crimes against public funds, and crimes against the Social Security system.

BehindMLM reported on March 24 that Awaken Dreamers is run by Ivan Broncos.

“Albert F.” is short for “Albert Ferrer,” and “Cristian A.” is short for “Christian Adell.” I couldn’t figure out who “José Francisco T.” was.

In any case, it looks like the Awaken Dreams downline for IM Mastery has been turned off.

El Pais asked IM Mastery Academy for a comment, but they didn’t answer.

After angry parents complained, the Spanish government started to look into IM Mastery Academy. El Pais’ report details several horror stories.

“You’ll become wealthy. Neither your parents nor your friends will understand. Raquel remembers what her daughter said to her: “You are a visionary who is in tune with the times.”

“She changed into a new person.” When her parents wouldn’t pay for her classes anymore, “she took her backpack and left,” her mother says.

“She has forgotten about her family and her friends… I have no idea where she lives. And now I’m her enemy because I don’t understand her and I don’t like her.”

The way IM Mastery targets young people is similar to how Vemma targeted college students, which was a big reason why the FTC sued the pyramid scheme.

Alex Morton is the link between Vemma and IM Mastery Academy.

During the alleged actions of the FTC, Morton was the top Vemma promoter. He is now the Executive Vice President of IM Mastery Academy.

After its top Spanish promoters were arrested, IM Mastery Academy went ahead with a planned marketing event in Barcelona at the start of April.

Since then, the number of people joining IM Mastery Academy in Spain has dropped. In the end, the company would throw their arrested employees under the bus.

Considering how it does business BehindMLM says that IM Mastery Academy is a pyramid scheme, and it’s likely also a scam that involves securities.

SimilarWeb says that Italy (15%), Chile (12%), Germany (11%, up 63% month on month), and the US (11%, down 28% month on month) are the top countries sending people to the IM Mastery Academy website.
